Data File

Documentation of a data file is, in large part, identical to data object documentation since a data file is basically just a persistent data object. The only difference is that data files are actual products that have business value, so it must be documented who produces them, who needs them, and why:

All parts of the documentation should be generated from Enterprise Architect: format and frequency are the element's tagged values, and the system is connected to the data file by a "create" dependency relationship.
